I was aiming for top 10... Lee Seung-taek tied for 50th place in Bahamas Classic

Lee Seung-taek finished tied for 50th in the Great Abaco Classic in the Bahamas (total prize money of $1 million) on the PGA Conferry Tour.

Lee Seung-taek shot a 2-under 70 in the fourth round on the last day of the tournament at Abaco Golf Club (par 72) in Bamaha Great Abaco on the 23rd (Korea time), tying for 50th with 7-under 281 overall. Although he raised his ranking eight notches from the previous day, it is a disappointing result compared to the expectation of a top 10 or higher performance.
Having played in the Korea Professional Golfers Association (KPGA) tour until last year, Lee has embarked on a challenge to participate in the Conferry tour this year. He tied for 14th at the qualifying school last year to qualify for the tour.

Lee Seung-taek, who participated in both Conferry Tour events from the opening game that ended last week, made successive cuts. However, he showed weaknesses such as "Moving Day" (the third round), where the ranking starts in earnest after the cut is passed, and "lack of hindsight" in losing in the ranking in the final round.

Lee displayed good performance by shooting 67-68 in the first and second rounds of the opening game. However, he had 71 pars in the third round, which pushed him out of the competition. He posted 67 pars on the final day to improve his ranking again. 토토사이트

A similar situation ensued in this year's event. Lee, who recorded 70 strokes at the first round, shot 7-under 65 strokes at the second round to tie for 13th. He continued his upward trajectory and expected results above the top 10. However, with 76 strokes at the third round, his ranking fell 45 notches in a single day. On the final day, he was satisfied with his performance to elevate his ranking again.

The Conferry Tour is a competition in which players compete for the right to participate in the PGA Tour next season. This is why ranking is more important than prize money. As of the end of the season, players ranking up to 20th in points are entitled to participate in the PGA.

Players who are seeded through qualifying schools like Lee Seung-taek will be eligible to play in the second half of the year by playing 12 tournaments in the first half of the year, and then readjusting the rankings. Even if they fail to win, they have to compete until the very end. Lee's concert tour points have fallen from 39th last week to 59th as of the end of this year's event.

Noh Seung-yeol shot 3-under 69 on the final day, recording a total of 12-under 276 to finish the tournament tied for 27th.

Sudarsan Yelamaraju of copyright shot the longest total of 25-under 263, shaking off the pursuit of Russell Knox (20-under 268) from the PGA Tour.
